0-3-Amino-3-dezoksi-a-D-glyukozopiranozil-(1 -"-6)-0-[2,6-diamino-2,3,6-tridezoksi-a-E) - ribo-geksopiranozil-(1->-4)] - 2-dezoksi-O-streptamin.

Form of release of medicine. Powder on 0,04, 0,05, 0,075 and 0,08 g in bottles.

Use and doses of drug. Freshly cooked solution (in 2 — 5 ml of water for injections) intramusculary at the rate of 0,002 — 0,005 g/kg in 2 — 3 receptions. The maximum daily dose of 0,005 g/kg in 3 — 4 receptions. To children enter at the rate of 0,002 — 0,005 g/kg into 2 — 4 receptions. Course of treatment of 7 — 10 days. Intravenously kapelno (within 20 — 60 min.) in the same dose, having dissolved drug in 50 — 100 ml of isotonic solution of sodium of chloride or 5% of solution of glucose.

Effect of the medicine. Tobramycinum - an antibiotic of a broad spectrum of activity, on antibacterial activity in relation to Ps strains. aeruginosa the most effective aminoglycoside. Possesses smaller, in comparison with gentamycin, nefro-and ototoksichnostyo. At intramuscular introduction it is quickly soaked up. The maximum concentration is defined in 30 — 40 min., therapeutic concentration remains during 6 — 8 h. Tobramycinum is allocated generally with kidneys, creating high concentration in urine.

Indications to use. Sepsis, pneumonia, the pleura empyema, pleurisy, purulent otitis, a pyelitis, cystitis and other infections caused by microflora, sensitive to drug.

Contraindications. Hypersensitivity to aminoglycosides, diseases of kidneys, an acoustical nerve. Pregnancy. Do not appoint jointly with streptomycin and other amiioglikozida, Cefaloridinum and diuretics.
