(±)-1-Izopropilamino-3-(1-naftiloks) - 2 propyl alcohols a hydrochloride.
Form of release of medicine. Tablets on 0,01 and 0,04 g, ampoules on 1 and 5 ml of 0,1% of solution.
Use and doses of drug. Inside on 0,025 g 2 — 4 times a day in 10 — 15 min. prior to food. Treatment is begun with small doses, gradually increasing them to 0,04 g 4 times a day (sometimes on 0,04 g of 5 — 6 times a day). At a pheochromocytoma on 0,02 g 3 times a day in combination with phentolamine. Intravenously (slowly!) on 2 — 3 ml of 0,1% of solution of a bucketed anaprilin of 2 min. before receiving therapeutic effect. As much as possible enter 10 ml of 0,1% of solution (0,01 g) the patient who is in consciousness, and on 5 ml of 0,1% of solution (0,005 g) — being in a condition of an anesthesia.
Effect of the medicine. Anaprilin blocks beta receptors and thus slows down reactions of effectors to adrenaline and a sympathetic impulsation. Excitability of a myocardium oppresses, lowers arterial pressure.
Contraindications. Acute myocardial infarction. Blockade of cordial conductivity, bronchial asthma, bronchospasms, hay fever. With care it is necessary to appoint drug at acidosis, pregnancy, the anesthesia caused by ether or chloroform at cardiovascular insufficiency.
Possible by-effects. Bradycardia, hypotension (especially at fast intravenous administration and prolonged use); nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, sleeplessness, weakness, Werlhof's disease, skin rash, allergic reactions.
Treatment of complications and poisonings. Isadrinum intravenously slowly under control of the level of arterial pressure and an ECG. At bradycardia — Atropini sulfas. Cardiac glycosides eliminate the heart failure caused anapriliny, but strengthen bradycardia. Control of water and electrolytic balance. See the Allergy.
