At a plexitis (neuritis of a humeral nerve) — a disease of neuroplexes — there comes sharp decrease in sensitivity of skin of an outside surface of a shoulder and forearm, shovel muscles, deltoid, two-headed, a key - humeral, humeral and front gear muscles (the hand hangs as a lash) are surprised, functions of a median nerve are broken.

At defeat of all brachial plexus there can be paresis or a flaccid paralysis. In this case, and also at sharp decrease in sensitivity of a hand, development of paralysis and an atrophy deltoid, two-headed, internal humeral muscles, a sgibately brush and fingers, at the same time the hand hangs as a lash, it is necessary to see a doctor.

Treatment of a plexitis consists first of all in fixing of the relevant provision: the brush, metacarpophalangeal and interphalanx joints are given halfbent situation and stack on a splint with the roller enclosed under pyastnofalangovy joints. The forearm and a brush (in a splint) suspend on a kerchief, and in certain cases stack all hand on the taking-away bandage. Also special physical exercises for a shoulder girdle, muscles of a shoulder, a forearm and a brush all-developing and breathing exercises are recommended.

Complex of special exercises at a plexitis

1. A starting position — sitting or standing. To raise shoulders up, to lower. To repeat 8 — 10 times.
2. A starting position — the same. To cramp shovels, then to return to a starting position. To repeat 8 — 10 times.
3. A starting position — the same, hands are lowered. To raise hands, brushes to shoulders, to part elbows in the parties, then again to press to a trunk. Roundabouts the hand bent in an elbow (the movements in a shoulder joint) clockwise and counterclockwise. To repeat 6 — 8 times.
4. A starting position — the same. To bend the injured hand, then to straighten, take it aside (direct or bent in an elbow), to return to a starting position. To repeat 6 — 8 times.
5. A starting position — the same, having bent towards the injured hand. Roundabouts straight arm clockwise and counterclockwise. To repeat 6 — 8 times.
6. A starting position — the same. To throw a hand forward and back (fig.). To repeat 6 — 8 times.

7. A starting position — the same. Swing advances both back both hands and skrestno before. To repeat 6 — 8 times.
8. — costing a starting position or sitting. Having bent forward, to bend a sore hand in an elbow and to straighten by means of a healthy hand. To repeat 5 — 6 times.
9. A starting position — the same. Circular rotations in an elbow joint in both parties (with support by a healthy hand). To repeat 6 — 8 times.
10. A starting position — the same. To turn a forearm and a brush a palm to itself and from itself. To repeat 6 — 8 times.
It is also useful to carry out the various movements in a radiocarpal joint and fingers. In water it is possible to do exercises not only for fingers of a radiocarpal joint, but also for elbow and humeral joints by the same techniques, as at injury of an elbow nerve and an injury of humeral, elbow, radiocarpal joints and fingers of a brush. The special attention is paid to bending of big and index fingers, cultivation of all fingers. In parallel appoint massage.
Classes physiotherapy exercises are given by 6 — 8 times a day, including remedial gymnastics in water of 1 — 2 time. Gradually, when the injured hand already holds objects, include exercises with objects (a stick, rubber and a volleyball), exercises on wall bars.
