Gastrointestinal frustration can be caused in children by the pathological processes proceeding out of a digestive tract (tab. 12-3). Table 12-3. The frequent reasons of gastrointestinal frustration at defeats of other bodies and systems
Anorexia
System diseases (infections, new growths, etc.)
Iatrogenic factors (medicinal therapy, tasteless dietary food)
Depression Nervous anorexia Vomiting
The increased intracranial pressure (hematomas, tumors, infections of the central nervous system)
Infections (for example, uric ways)
Diarrhea
Infection (respiratory organs, uric ways)
Uraemia
Lock
Hypothyroidism
Dehydration (not diabetes mellitus, defeats of tubules of kidneys)
Abdominal pains Pyelonephritis, hydronephrosis, renal colic Pneumonia
Inflammatory processes of bodies of a small pelvis "School" phobia Increase in a stomach
Ascites (at a nephrotic syndrome, new growths, heart failure)
Limited tumor (Vilms's tumor, hydronephrosis, neuroblastoma) Pregnancy Jaundice
Hemolitic illness

In particular, special attention should be paid on an illness of the central nervous system and uric ways as the reasons of gastrointestinal symptoms as at children of chest and early age clinical displays of these diseases are difficult distinguishable.
The main diseases of digestive organs which are shown by various gastrointestinal symptoms are listed in tab. 12-4. Among them several states at which dysfunction of digestive organs is secondary in relation to the pathological process striking other bodies and systems are mentioned.
